Who We Are

We are a friendly group of writers that meets weekly to encourage each other in taking steps with our works-in-progress. We welcome any fiction genre. Because we operate under the umbrella of Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers, you may attend three times before joining RMFW if you aren’t already a member.

When and Where We Meet

We meet Thursdays, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Panera Bread, 650 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, CO 80226. We usually convene at the back tables. Some members arrive early to eat and socialize before we get started. Traffic along Wadsworth is slow at dinner, and the line to get food/drink is heavy then, so give yourself extra time to be ready to roll at 6 p.m.

Each week, a group moderator sends out an invitation for a reservation to attend. Members must reserve a spot by 6:00 p.m. Tuesday indicating whether they will attend and whether they will bring pages. Registration closes at that time. Then, the moderator notifies attendees how many copies of their pages to bring.

A good critique group is essential to good writing.  -Jason
